Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our in-house media team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both short-form and long-form video editing, with a solid understanding of post-production workflows, visual storytelling, and content creation trends across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit high-quality videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Apply colour correction, sound design, and motion graphics where needed
- Create engaging video thumbnails using image editing tools
- Source royalty-free music, stock footage, and sound effects legally and ethically
- Collaborate with editors, content writers, and team leads to align videos with brand messaging
- Organise and manage raw footage and final outputs efficiently
- Support in posting content with relevant captions (team-supported)
- Stay updated with the latest editing trends to improve content quality and viewer engagement
Requirements:
Education: Minimum Intermediate (A degree in Media, Film, or related fields is a plus)
Experience: Minimum 6 months in video editing or multimedia production
Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Basic image editing skills in Adobe Photoshop or similar tools
- Familiarity with After Effects or DaVinci Fusion for motion graphics
- Ability to mix audio, sync music, and apply SFX
- Good sense of colour grading and consistency
- Understanding of social media trends and editing styles
- Knowledge of content scheduling or profile management is a plus
